Theresa May To Hold First Cabinet Meeting Since Election

British Prime Minister Theresa May will hold her first cabinet meeting this morning, since losing her parliamentary majority.

The Cabinet are due to discuss the DUP deal which was reached in principle at the weekend – and Mrs May will also face her disgruntled backbenchers this afternoon.

But amid rumours she may not be in Number 10 much longer, the British Foreign Secretary, Boris Johnson, says she should stay where she is.

Meanwhile, the White House has denied reports that President Trump has told Theresa May that he doesn’t want to go ahead with his state visit to the UK.

It’s apparently over concerns about potential demonstrations.
