The Irish Medical Organisation Rejects Proposals From HSE

The Irish Medical Organisation has rejected proposals from the HSE on rural services.

It says they're not good enough to deal with the current crisis – and GPs are unable to run a sustainable practice in rural towns and villages.

The group claims it has put forward realistic solutions, including a range of new services that could be offered to patients which are not covered by the current GMS contract.
