The 18 year old was with friends in the early hours of Saturday morning when she collapsed outside the Twisted Pepper nightclub on Middle Abbey Street.

It's understood she may have taken PMMA, which is a form of ecstasy.

The teen collapsed at about 3am on Saturday and was brought to the Mater Hospital where she died yesterday evening.

The Twisted Pepper has issued a statement offering its condolences to the woman's family and says it's co-operating with the authorities in their inquiries.
