Armed men have taken control of Simferopol airport in the Crimean region of Ukraine.

The men, dressed in full battle gear and carrying assault rifles, are patrolling the grounds – but appear to be allowing the airport to function normally.
Ukraine's ousted president Victor Yanukovych is expected to make his first public appearance since fleeing Kiev today at a press conference in Russia.
Meanwhile, Ukraine's interior minister says Russian military units in Crimea have also blocked Sevastopol's Airport.
