Temperatures are expected to plummet in Clare over the next 24 hours as the country is hit by an arctic blast.
Met Éireann has issued a low temperature and ice warning for the entire country, with temperatures expected to dip low as minus 4 degrees.

It comes into effect at 9pm and lasts until 10am tomorrow.
The forecaster is warning of hazardous travel conditions on road and underfoot and travel disruption.
Alan O Reilly from Carlow Weather says while there will be some sunshine, it will be bitterly cold.
