Television Series About County Clare To Be Aired In United States

Images of County Clare will be beamed into homes across the United States later this year, with millions of viewers set to tune into the Ireland: County By County Series.

Filming is taking place in Clare this week for the Irish-based Peninsula Television series, which will focus on various cultural, sporting, social and heritage aspects of the Banner county.

Featured in the 30-minute programme, which will air on the Create/PBS network, are the attractions and amenities of Ennis, Shannon Airport, Dromoland Castle, the Cliffs of Moher, Lahinch, Lough Derg, as well as the food of the Burren, and the music of the Kilfenora Céilí band.
