Fr. Ted fans looking for ‘Ireland’s largest lingerie section’ in Clare’s county town could soon be pointed in the right direction.

In a bid to attract more tourists, Ennis Councillors have given their backing to plans for signage to be erected to link the town’s Dunnes Stores outlet, with Ted Trail which sees fans of the popular comedy visit sites where it was shot.
The same initiative will also see signs erected on Mill Road to commemorate the locally-inspired song "The Stone Outside Dan Murphy’s Door".
