Calls In Clare For Review Of National Broadband Plan

Calls have made in Clare for a review of the National Broadband Plan in light of the ongoing controversy surrounding its roll out.

It comes as the Government is set to dismiss Eir’s one billion euro alternative plan, with Government sources reportedly saying it’s “vague, cuts corners and would leave individual households facing higher bills.”

The government’s preference for the roll out is Granahan McCourt ,at a price of 3 billion euro.
