It follows Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau urging Taoiseach Leo Varadkar to increase the gender balance in his cabinet – which is split 80-20.
Kilkee native Madeleine Taylor-Quinn – who was this county’s first female TD – says Trudeau shouldn’t be telling another Prime Minister how to run his government.
