The Taoiseach is visiting Ennis today for the 40th annual Eamon DeValera commemoration ceremony.
Micheal Martin is due to make a speech at the DeValera monument near the Courthouse this afternoon.
The Fianna Fail leader has previously visited the county town on a number of occasions to commemorate the former Taoiseach and President.
The bronze statue was scuplted by Jim Connolly and unveiled back in 1981, with De Valera having been first elected as a TD in a 1917 East Clare by-election.
