Taoiseach urged to deal with abortion laws

Labour Women says the Taoiseach is ignoring his responsibilities to the women of Ireland with regards to abortion laws.

Members of the Labour Party including the Minister for Equality Aodhan O'Riordan will be taking part in the March for Choice today.

Labour Women are calling for the issue of a referendum on the 8th Amendment to be a priority for political parties heading into the next general election.

Earlier this month Enda Kenny said no referendum would be held until a replacement for the 8th amendment is carefully considered.
