The Taoiseach has promised that the upcoming water charges will be fair and affordable.

The coalition's due to decide what tariffs will be imposed on the public this week, with the charge set to kick in from October.
Speaking last night, Enda Kenny said water charges would actually save the taxpayer money in the long run, by identifying and fixing leaks.
He also said it'll be the last austerity measure implemented by the Government.
