Enda Kenny is part of the delegation because of the incoming Irish presidency of the EU.
The European Union was announced as the winner of the prize for its historic role in uniting the continent.
However, around a thousand people marched through Oslo to protest against the award last night.
They say the EU is "undemocratic" and maintains a large military even during an economic downturn.
A similar protest was also held outside the offices of the European Parliament in Dublin yesterday evening.
