The Taoiseach says he’s absolutely heartbroken for the McAreavey and Harte families, after the acquittal of two men charged with murdering Michaela McAreavey.

Enda Kenny says while the Government will consider using diplomatic channels to have the investigation re-examined we will not interfere with the legal process of another country.
