Taoiseach Calls For Action Following Loyaltybuild Fraud

Bank of Ireland has confirmed that it’s seen no incidences of fraud on any of its cards after the security breach at Ennis firm Loyaltybuild.

Ireland’s top banks have been monitoring their customer’s accounts in the wake of the breach – which has affected 80-thousand SuperValu and Axa loyalty customers.

AIB and Permanent TSB have already confirmed that fraud has taken place on some of its accounts – while Ulster Bank says it’s closely monitoring its books for any suspicious activity.

Meanwhile, the Taoiseach says the breach is of concern to hundreds of thousands of people.

Enda Kenny is hoping that all involved will take action to re-assure consumers.
