Taoiseach Apologises To Victim Of Twenty Years Of Abuse

The Taoiseach’s apologised to a disabled woman who was left in an abusive foster home for 20 years.

Enda Kenny’s described as “shocking” two reports published today on failures at the facility in the South East.

A Commission of Investigation is to be established in the coming weeks.

The Taoiseach’s addressed the issue in the Dáil this afternoon and said the woman’s treatment was a disgrace to the country.
