Tanaiste Says Living Wage Is Labour’s Top Priority

The Tanaiste says the introduction of a living wage is one of the most important issues for her party in this election.

The plans would see the minimum wage jump by around 2 euro to 11.30 an hour. 

Last week Labour's coalition partners Fine Gael refused to commit to the increase.

However the Tanaiste says she doesn't believe there will be a problem in negotiating the increase, should the government be re-elected.
