Joan Burton has been speaking at the ICTU conference in Ennis today, weeks after the party's former Clare TD was expelled from the Labour parliamentary party after he voted against the government's sale of Aer Lingus
The fallout from that continues – today the East Clare representative is being officially removed from two Oireachtas Committees as a result.
Fianna Fáil says this move flies in the face of government promises of political reform, but speaking to Clare FM, Minister Burton dismissed his comments.
