A last ditch attempt to save the Garth Brooks concerts is underway, which would see two gigs rescheduled on new dates.

Mediator Kieran Mulvey is reportedly trying to persuade Aiken Promotions to make a fresh licence application.
The rescheduled gigs could take place on the July 30th and 31st – the Wednesday and Thursday rather than the original Monday and Tuesday nights.
The bid would have to be fast-tracked once residents’ key concerns are addressed with the assurance that no concerts would take place next year.
A meeting of Dublin City Council is due to take place today and a final decision is expected tomorrow.
