Talks between the ASTI and the Department of Education are to resume this morning.

The parties were locked in discussions for most of yesterday but didn't reach a resolution.
Union members are calling for equal pay for new teachers and payment for supervision and substitution duties.
Industrial action has been suspended for the duration of the talks, which could last until the end of the month.
