The Syrian army claims it has taken over part of a rebel stronghold in the city of Aleppo.

Around 200-thousand civilians have fled the northern city in the past two days – seeking refuge in neighbouring countries.
However, there’s some confusion as to the real picture in Aleppo – as rebels say they have fought back regime forces this morning.
