Down Syndrome Clare Urge Government For Additional Funding

Down Syndrome Clare is urging the government to invest in services in this county so that parents can avoid the “torture” of red tape.

They claim that while supports are there for early childhood, it’s difficult for parents to get the same help as their child grows older.

Parents face long waiting list for what they describe as essential services such as occupational and speech and language therapy.
