The National Youth Council interviewed a number of young people who’ve left Ireland to find out how they’re settling down and the problems they face.

Emigration has hit a quarter of families here while a half of 18 to 24 year olds are contemplating leaving the country.

Marie-Claire McAleer carried out the study – she’s outlining the issues some people faced especially in Canada.
