When it comes to spending on their other halves, Clare adults are among the more 'sensible' spenders.
Littlewood Ireland's Christmas Shopper Survey shows a quarter of people in Clare would spend less than 100 euro on their partner, compared to the 200 euro 36% of people in Donegal would spend.
The banner is home to its fair share of last minute shoppers with 60% buying gifts on Christmas Day or Christmas Eve, with more than three quarters of pet owners saying they'll buy a gift for their pets.
It seems Clare will remain a happy county over the festive season – 97% of people here say that Christmas makes them happy.
