A garda investigation is underway following the burglary of a business on the outskirts of the county town.
Thieves gained entry to Hassett’s Bar in Barefield shortly before 4 o’clock in the early hours of Saturday morning through a side door.

A sum of cash was taken from the premises.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who who witnessed unusual activity in the area during the night or who were passing at the time and may have dash cam footage to contact Ennis Garda Station on 065 68 48 100.
