Clare County Council is to carry out a study, with a view to improving disability access in the town of Kilrush.
Independent Councillor Ian Lynch has requested the audit, with a view to improving not only physical infrastructure there but also accessibility for those with hidden conditions.

Clare’s county access officer will be consulted in order to determine how best to approach a change to how things currently run there, before any review commences.
