Serious concerns have been expressed about government changes to the bodies tasked with the restructuring of Shannon Airport.
The group responsible for generating new business for a newly independent MidWest Airport has increased from 15 to 17 members, and now includes the General Manager of Signature Flight Support Shannon along with another Aviation Consultant.

An additional person from Shannon Airport has also been added to the Change Management taskforce.
It comes amid criticism over the limited number of representatives from the Mid West on the three bodies but local councillor Patricia McCarthy isn’t convinced these additions will address that.
