Management at Shannon Airport are anticipating a strong boost in passenger numbers over the Easter weekend.

It comes as new figures show numbers throught the airport are up around 11% this month so far, when compared to the same time time last year.
March is traditionally one of the busiest months in Shannon and numbers are set to be boosted further this year with St. Patrick's Day and Easter falling so close together.
Niall Maloney, Operations Director with Shannon Airport says authorities there are delighted at the rate of passenger growth.
