Flights at Shannon Airport could be grounded next month, because of plans for ‘rolling strikes’ at Ireland’s state airports.

According to today’s Sunday Business Post, Siptu has given the go-ahead for industrial action by Dublin Airport Authority and Aer Lingus employees – over plans to reform their pension arrangements.
The newspaper says it’s seen a memo – which says that each crew unit will participate in two hours of strike action on Thursday, September 20.
