A clean up operation from the weekends flooding is continuing across Clare.

The council are carrying out works in New Quay, the promenade in Lahinch, Flaggy Shore and various areas around Loop Head.
The Cabinet is meeting to discuss what humanitarian assistance can be given to those affected by the recent flooding.
The Minister for Public Expenditure says existing road and harbour funds may be used and while Clare County Council has welcomed this, Senior Engineer with Clare County Council Tom Tiernan says he hopes this will only be a temporary measure.
