Uisce Éireann has warned that works in East Clare could cause water supply disruptions in surrounding areas today.
As part of the National Leakage Reduction Programme, step testing works in the O’Briensbridge plant will take place from 11:30pm tonight until 5:30am tomorrow morning, with further tests at the same time on Thursday night, and may cause supply disruptions to Montpellier, O’Briensbridge and surrounding areas.
Mains repair works in Clonlara are scheduled to take place until 4pm today and may cause supply disruptions to surrounding areas.
A traffic management plan will be in place for the duration of the works.
Meanwhile in West Clare, repairs to a burst water main in Doonbeg will take place until 4pm today and may cause supply disruptions to Mountrivers, Doonmore, Baltard, Killard, Glascloune, Bealaha, Farrihy, Lisdeen, Lisgreen and surrounding areas.
