A status yellow warning for wind has been announced for Clare.
As Storm Floris is set to land over the bank holiday weekend, Met Éireann has announced the low level alert that will also impact Mayo, Galway and Sligo.

It will come into affect at 2am on Monday morning and stay in place until 1pm that afternoon.
The forecaster is warning of very strong and damaging gusts that could lead to dangerous driving conditions, structural damage, fallen trees, debris and loose objects, power outages, wave overtopping and localised flooding due to leaves.
