A status yellow thunderstorm warning has been issued for Clare.
Met Eireann are anticipating scattered thunderstorms with with possibility of hail and spot flooding.

The warning is also in place for neighbouring counties Limerick, Tipperary and Galway as well as 10 other counties.
It came into place at 2pm today and will last until 10pm tonight.
