A status yellow thunderstorm warning has now been extended to Clare and Limerick.
It affects 25 counties in total, including all six in Northern Ireland.

Met Éireann is warning of scattered heavy showers, spot flooding and challenging travel conditions.
The warning is valid until 10 o’clock tonight.
