A status yellow rain warning has been issued for Clare and nine other counties.
It’ll stay in place for 24 hours coming into effect from 2pm this afternoon and ending at the same time tomorrow.

All of Munster will be effected along with Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford and Galway.
Met Éireann is warning of heavy rain and a few thundery downpours, which may result in spot flooding.
