A state of national emergency in France has been extended by a further six months.

It was introduced after the mass shootings in Paris in November, and has now been prolonged due to the Bastille Day attack in Nice were 84 people were killed.
The country's national assembly has now agreed the greater security measures will stay in place until at least January.
