Stain Glass windows and religious statues have been damaged in a disused church in Ennis after being targeted by vandals.
Sometime between 12 noon on Friday last and 12.30 the following day, vandals gained entry to our Lady’s Church on the Gort Road by forcing open the front door.

The building was ransacked and and what’s been described as “obscene graffiti” was put on the walls.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone with information on the incident to contact Ennis Garda Station on 065 68 48 100.
