A Garda investigation is underway into a robbery from a shop in North Clare, during which a staff member was threatened with a screwdriver.
Emergency services were contacted following the incident at the Daybreak Shop on the Lahinch Road in Ennistymon shortly before 5 o’clock last Sunday evening.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the incident to come forward.
