Thirty staff at a former well-known retailer on the Northside of Limerick are staging a sit-in.

Ivan’s, located on the Ennis Road in Caherdavin, announced it’s closure on Monday after nearly 40 years in business, blaming tough trading conditions.
However, former workers say they were given no notice, and claim they are owed wages and redundancy.
They’re now occupying the store in a bid to get these concerns addressed.
