An Ennis secondary school is planning to boost its staffing and enhance its facilities to cater for its growing student population.

St. Flannan’s College Ennis is on course to become the largest school in Munster as its enrollment figures are due to increase from 1,201 to 1,280 this September.

The increase in numbers will result in the hiring of four additional teachers, the expansion of classroom space, the creation of a full-time astro turf pitch and various other improvements across the school campus.
