It’s argued there’s no space in Clare where dog owners can let their pets off the lead without violating bye-laws.
It comes following recent claims by Clare’s County Dog Warden that dog fouling is a growing problem in the county’s parks and play areas, with 23 complaints made so far this year.

Clare is currently without a designated dog park.
Inagh resident and dog owner Colleen Shanks says people like her are crying out for an enclosed area with the appropriate amenities.
