Sports Minister, Shane Ross, who returned from the Olympics last night, is due to meet with the Attorney General later today.
They're expected to discuss Ireland's response to allegations of corruption leveled against the President of our Olympic Council Pat Hickey.
Mr Hickey has been questioned by Brazilian police after hundreds of tickets earmarked for team Ireland were confiscated from an alleged tout.
Speaking on his return to Dublin from Rio last night, Minister Ross discounted criticism of the Government's handling of the controversy.
