Yesterday Pat Hickey, who has temporarily stepped down from the Olympic Council of Ireland, was arrested in Rio.
He's facing three charges including ticket touting, the formation of a cartel and ambush or illicit marketing.
One of the OCI's two Vice Presidents – William O'Brien – has temporarily replaced Pat Hickey.
The other Vice President is FAI CEO John Delaney.
If convicted Pat Hickey could serve up to 7 years in jail.
Journalist Jamil Chade in Brazil broke the story of Mr Hickey's arrest – and says they're investigating his electronic devices.
Video of him being taken into custody, wearing nothing but a bathrobe, has gone viral after it was leaked by Brazilian police.
Journalist with Bloomberg, Tariq Panja, thinks authorities in Rio will be keen to make an example of Mr Hickey.
There's been calls for an independent government investigation into the scandal.
Minister Ross will meet with advisors and the Attorney General over the next few days to decide the best course of action for the government.
