The level of overcrowding at the region's main hospital has climbed higher than any other hospital in the country once again today.

The INMO say there are 23 people on trolleys at University Hospital Limerick's Emergency Department, with a further 15 awaiting admission in other parts of the Dooradoyle facility.
The total number of 38 is the highest in the country, and accounts for one-in-nine of all patients who are awaiting admission to hospitals in Ireland today.
