A special policing plan is underway ahead of a potential visit here by Donald Trump.
No trip has been confirmed but the US President has hinted he may visit his Doonbeg golf resort while it hosts the Irish Open in September.

The Irish Independent reports Gardai have already begun a policing plan called ‘Operation Far Sunrise’ which will focus on Shannon airport, Doonbeg and Dublin.
Members of the force have apparently been asked to give expressions of interest in working overtime on the weekend starting September 11th.
