A special meeting takes place this afternoon during which Clare Councillors will determine the level of local property taxes here next year.

Local authority members will vote on whether to retain the 15% tax cut that has been in place for the last two years, or instead boost the Council's income by adding to the chage for homeowners.
The full 15% cut represents a saving of under 50 euro a year to 90% of Clare's homeowners.
