The local community in Kilcolgan in Co Galway is in mourning after the death of an 8 year old boy during a farm accident yesterday.

The young boy passed away in University Hospital Galway yesterday afternoon.
The Health and Safety Authority has sent an inspector to investigate the cause of the incident.
Fr David Cribbin, parish priest for the Ballinderreen and Kinvara parishes says the death, just days before Christmas, has hit the community hard.
