As Clare remains on high alert for flooding over the coming days, a specific warning has been issued for the South-East of the county.
Increasing amounts of water have been cascading over the Parteen Weir in recent days, and a number of local roads in the area remain impassable.
A risk of flooding remains at various locations ahead of forecast heavy rains tomorrow night, and Clare County Council is warning of a strong possibility of flooding near the Lower River Shannon in particular.
Meanwhile, the government insists a plan is in place to deal with the massive clean-up operation in Clare and across the country.
The Taoiseach has admitted that the government hasn't earmarked enough funding for flood defences, after thousands of homes and businesses were left devastated.
However, Junior Finance Minister Brian Hayes has promised that action will be taken.
