Planning permission has been granted for the construction of a new nursing home in South East Clare.
Clare County Council has given the green light for a 44-bedroom, two storey development, at Lower Ardnataggle, in O’Brien’s Bridge.

The go-ahead has previously been granted on the site for a nursing home and day care centre development and that permission was subsequently extended.
The plans include 35 car-parking spaces and associated works and have been given to go-ahead subject to a number of conditions, including that the plans are carried out in accordance with a Natura Impact Statement.
