A Shannon mental health campaigner is calling on the HSE to prioritise talking therapies rather than handing out prescriptions.
Gary Fitzgibbon has been lobbying politicians about a lack of services for those whose mental health is suffering and will meet with Minister Jim Daly in the coming weeks.

He has previously accessed counselling from Pieta House for his own issues and says the work of organisations like this is crucial for those in the need.
